About me
Born in Tegucigalpa and raised around Honduras, Denise was positively exposed at an early age to medical brigades, teachers, volunteers, and NGO projects, which fueled her dream of growing up and being as helpful as she could to the community and the world.
As an inspired dreamer, Denise went to law school and simultaneously joined a teacher team. Today, with over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood, Language Therapy, Special and Elementary Education, as well as Adult Training, she gets to enjoy paradise and bring to life our community project of Aluna School of Thought with the wonderful tribe acquired along the way. Crystal energy rituals became one of her passions when they gave her the balance she had been searching for in her body, mind, and spirit. Partnering with James, her husband, due to the kindred goal of bringing mindfulness, natural medicine, and integral education with easy access to kids and adults who might have never had access to them. She strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth, creativity, and development and is hungry for culture, environmental respect, and love.
